Dr. Myrna Ransome

Dr. Myrna Ransome is an Assistant Professor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, in the departments of Research, and Special Needs Education.

She holds a Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), a Masters degree in Special and Inclusive Education from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioural Sciences (Sociology and Psychology) from Andrews University.

Her research interests are learning disabilities, mathematics education, technical-vocational education and distance education. She engages in lecturing to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as research supervision of Masters’ and Ph.D. candidates. Her participation in sports management spans four decades.
